Research, Development and Marketing Communications Specialist
Main responsibilities:
Conduct consumer, product and trend research to provide actionable insights for product development and innovation strategies
Evaluate Brand Health Tracking & Shopper Insights for following actionable recommendations to commercial team
Participate in the new product development (NPD) process, ensuring adherence to the stage-gate methodology and supporting cross-functional team coordination
Collaborate with production, procurement, planning, legal, sales, and marketing teams to support innovation projects and ensure timely delivery
Support Innovation Board Meetings by presenting research insights and data-driven recommendations for new product initiatives
Analyze product portfolios to create strategies for improving, replacing, or discontinuing underperforming SKUs, ensuring alignment with overall profitability goals
Support the development of 3-year plans for portfolio health improvement and strategic innovation
Build and evaluate business cases for new product initiatives, ensuring alignment with P&L targets and long-term business objectives
Support yearly media strategy creation providing insights based on channel performance analyses & media insights
Increase efficiency of media campaign by thorough evaluation of media KPIs
Overview and improve efficiency of budget spending on creative & BTL works
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics
аt least 2 years experience in commercial team
fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian, English language-upper intermediate
MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint Advanced)
Finance foundation (basic understanding of P&L, cashflow)
Familiarity with research methodologies
Working understanding of Media Channels
Project management & analytical skills.
