With the support of Carlsberg Azerbaijan, a special exhibition titled “Power of Regional Women in Karabakh” was held in Khankendi on March 8, International Women’s Day, featuring women entrepreneurs from nearly 20 different regions of the country.

Organized by the Karabakh Training Center, the exhibition aimed to support women entrepreneurs operating in regional areas, promote their businesses in Karabakh, and stimulate new business opportunities in the liberated territories.

Women entrepreneurs representing Khankendi, Shusha, Khojaly, Aghdam, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Lankaran, Tovuz, Guba, Mingachevir, Masalli, Gabala, Gakh, Barda, Sheki, and Agsu participated in the event. Participants showcased their regional cuisines and historical attributes, while also exhibiting and selling their business products.

During the official opening ceremony, attendees were provided with detailed information on state incentives, tax exemptions, and other support mechanisms available in the liberated territories, offering them real opportunities to establish and grow their businesses in Karabakh.

Lala Afandi, Corporate Affairs Director of KBA Region, one of the event partners, expressed her satisfaction with the opportunities created for women entrepreneurs in Karabakh:

“It is encouraging that women entrepreneurs will also play a role in the revival and sustainable development of Karabakh. The conditions and incentive opportunities created here further support this work. I am confident that with the delicate touch of Azerbaijani women, the region’s prosperity will accelerate. As Carlsberg Azerbaijan, we are proud to support this project.”
