On May 15-17, the 17th Azerbaijan International Agricultural Exhibition – Caspian Agro was held at the Baku Expo Center. Carlsberg Azerbaijan also took part in this exhibition, bringing together about 450 companies from 30 countries.

Carlsberg Azerbaijan participated in this exhibition as part of the cooperation with Azersheker LLC and presented Xırdalan 0.0 products at the stand of Azersheker LLC.

Within the cooperation with our company, Azersheker LLC has started localization of beer barley since 2019. Since 2021, Carlsberg Azerbaijan has switched to 100% local barley in the production. In August 2023, Azersheker LLC, Carlsberg Azerbaijan and Azersun Agricultural Products LLC laid the foundation for the first barley processing plant in the South Caucasus.

And in February 2024, the first local 100% non-alcoholic beer Xırdalan 0.0, made with beer barley grown in Yevlakh and Agjabadi, was presented to the consumers.
