One of Azerbaijan’s leading startup and innovation platforms, Baku Investment Day 2025, was successfully held this year with “Xırdalan 0.0” as the main partner.

The event served as a significant platform for collaboration and partnership, uniting investors, innovators, and startups from across the Caucasus, Central Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. Baku Investment Day not only celebrates technological advancements but also promotes an entrepreneurial spirit, making it strategically important for economic and innovation-driven development in the region.

As one of the main partners of the event, Xırdalan 0.0 once again demonstrated its support for innovative initiatives by emphasizing the importance of local production and sustainable technologies.

During the event, Anton Panasenko, Marketing Director at Carlsberg Azerbaijan, gave a speech about Xırdalan 0.0. He noted that this product is the first completely alcohol-free beer produced in Azerbaijan using entirely locally grown barley.

Xırdalan 0.0 is a 100% locally made, high-tech, alcohol-free lager beer with a rich aroma and perfectly balanced flavor. The quality and technological excellence of the product are rooted in the achievements of the Carlsberg Research Laboratory, which has been a pioneer in brewing innovation since 1875.

Prior to the event, Carlsberg Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy signed a Memorandum of Understanding covering the years 2025–2030. The implementation of this agreement is expected to contribute to the localization of raw materials and packaging, the development of full domestic production, and the protection of the environment.

It is worth mentioning that Baku Investment Day, held annually since 2022, has already attracted $1.5 million USD in investments. Nearly 100 partners and sponsors have supported the event, and over 275 startups have taken part.
