Sales Accountant

Key job responsibilities:

• Daily accounting of settlements with customers: accounting of past-due indebtedness, payments
• Exchange of electronic invoices for shipment to customers in ERP and Internet portal of the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan (e-taxes.gov.az)
• Daily reconciliation of electronic invoices for shipment to customers in ERP with invoices in e-tax
• Control over the discounts granted to customers
• Provision of information on the discount reserves, reconciliation of turnover and balance according to the account data during the close-out
• Control over the credit limits of buyers
• Control of the return of containers of the shipped products
• Control and registration of documents on the returns from buyers in the ERP according to internal Regulations
• Control and entering of prices, verification of the prices entered in the ERP for products
• Conducting checks with customers on a monthly basis
• Archiving of documents
• Providing reports for close-out
• Checking accounting records
• Organization of reception, storage, and issuance of excise stamps
• Participation in optimization and automation of business processes
• Processing and execution of requests from customers and divisions of the Company within his/her official duties
• Development of procedures and reports in the accounting of settlements with buyers
• Timely provision of requested information for audit and tax inspections

Requirements for candidates: 

• Higher education (in the economics)
• At least 3 years of work experience in accounting
• Advanced MS Office user (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English (at least upper-intermediate level)
• ACCA certificates
• Ability to work with databases, lots of numbers and bulk information
